    HP estimate info

Hey, I was wondering if anyone had a similar setup like mine, and if they did if they had ever had it dynoed, just to get a rwhp idea, I went to the track about three weeks ago, before I installed my pacesetter LNGtubes and off road-y, also before the LS1 fans and a more agressive tune, my bst time was 15.1 at 90 mph, and my trans was acting up when attempting to go into 3rd gear, it wouldn't hold and it felt like it couldn't go in when manually shifting it, since then I added Longtubes with y-pipe deleted my cats, installed LS1 fans and had Nelson performance download a more aggressive timing curve, since, I had a stock curve at the time, well hope to get some info back?
Had a 99 GMC ESCB with LQ4 conversion and Nelson Performance tunning, currently workin on my 82 SCB GMC with carbed LQ4 conversion in progress, Also have a 00 SS Camaro that runs mid 11's all day long with bolt ons, Drag race my 79 malibu that has a 496 BBC runnin 10's on motor, shootin for 9's with the 250 shot of nitrous in its near future. Use my 04 2500 chevy to pull my rig around and drive the fam in our 07 NNBS yukon, Die Hard Chevy Fan Till The Death.

"Quick for stock truck" is in your signature. What does that mean?

Wish I could help you more than just ask another question.

Its because it ran and kept up with modified trucks, I raced a 2005 silverado, 5.3 cammed with longtubes, stall 4.10 and Nelson tunned, 80mm tb CAI, I mean alot of modifcations, and would beat it repeatedly with only a 4.8 to 6.0 swap, no headers or electric fans, had cats no stall just the swap and nelson stock upgrade tune, also a ran and beat a single cab 5.7 dodge hemi truck that Cai longtubes, superchips exhaust, and 3.97 gears, with this same setup before I did any upgrades to the engine...

The day I went there was a 2005 Silverado with an LQ9 6.0 cammed, Long tubes, off road y and magnaflow cat back, 80mm tb K+n CAi, Neslon tune 4.10 and 2500 stall, it ran 14.5 at 95, also a single cab with a roudy cam, stall and all the bolt ons, it ran 14.3 at 97, so I dont know if the weather or the track , but as you say, I did also expect at least a high 14 but I couldn't run it..

You said the trans was acting up? Then your numbers are skewed.

I would guess about 290-300 to the wheels.

I find this hard to believe unless he was spinning half way down the track. I have basically the same setup as the RCSB you describe and run 13.6 easily in 100 degree weather.

I would say your truck will put 280 - 300 to the wheels max.

The truck I raced was a quad cab on 20's, that truck currently has an LQ9 cammed and it runs 14.5 at 95 mph at San Antonio Raceway, my track times were ran there also.
