Vats deleted, but now P1626 code???

I have an 04' Colorado which I put a 5.7 LS1 out of a 2000 Camaro in it, I bought HPtuners a couple weeks ago so I could disable VATS out of both computers. I did so without too many problems, now the truck starts up perfectly but dies seconds later. I scanned the Colorado body control module, and it has a U1000 code (serial data 2 loss of communications). The dealer told me to take the hot and ground off the battery and touch them together to reset this code, I did this and it worked.

The problem is when I scanned my LS1 computer, It is showing a recent code of P1626 Theft Deterent Fuel Enable Signal). Is there anyway of bypassing this, other than grounding out the TDM (theft deterrant module)??

Any help at all would be awesome!!

*When I turn the key on the fuel pump does prime, just runs out of gas in about 3 seconds.

Have you tried going into the pcm and tuning that code out? What I mean is set that particular code to DO NOT REPORT.

I have it hooked up to hp tuners now, and I don't know if I'm doing this right?? I went to the VCM editor, then engine diagnostic, then DTC's. I unclicked the check marks for the certain things I'm having problems with and no luck, It is still throwing the same codes....I will go back to HP forum and check,

Okay I figured it out, newbie mistake I guess. I put them to do not report, but the truck is still not staying running and it threw the exact same codes after I cleared it. I am going to research some more I guess, I don't know if this is a wiring glitch or if we are not getting fuel. Well I will keep you posted!!

I don't have hptuner, I have CATS. In my software you have two different places that you have to disable vats first under switches and than again under constants, hope this helps.
