Loud vibration at idle in park?

Alright, so i just noticed when i'm parked and idling. When I give it gas, it makes this loud vibration noise in my truck. I don't know if it's the back pressure, but i've never noticed this before? I can rev it to 2500 rpms and nothing really, but when I bump the rpm's up on idle, it gives me a loud vibration noise when i let off the pedal? This common?

no its not common, can you tell where the vibration is coming from? like under the truck, rear of truck, engine bay?

if its towards the back of the truck, it might be your heat shields making contact with the exhaust...you can literally bend it back up with your hands.

It's really hard to tell. I want to say it's coming from the back of the truck. I know my exhaust is bent down a bit still from the accident. I did feel like something was rubbing earlier today, but hard to tell when i'm the only one in the truck. I'm going to have to check it out tomorrow. It just doesn't feel right. Thanks guys. Any other options to consider, please post.

I know our trucks are nothing lilke Hondas, but when I used to work for Acura the heat shields would make a noise exactly like what you are describing.

Yes, I was just in an accident. Got rear ended, and the new bed, leafs, exhaust was bent, and rear was kind of twisted it looked like. Frame was aligned again. So yes, it can be from an accident, but I don't know exactly what it is or if it's suppose to be there?
