Thread: Cool idea for engine covers

    You guys all know that mecury boat motors that are inboards are pretty much copys of GM's or whatever..so use the engine covers off of those motors..i was looking at an excalibur engine which i think is the 6.0. Just an idea
    Project: 91' short wide:
    GMC front end update with billet grille and all clears, 17x8 & 17x11 Torq Thrust II's
    5/7 drop, almost totally shaved and 93 Deville tails
    Future Plans: 2001 LQ4 6.0L & a T-56

    DD: 98' 5 speed GT : Dumped Exhaust, CAI

    Interesting. I like thinking outside of the box. I always got my eye open for something diff or new.

    i like the escalde covers the best so far and thats what i plan to buy, but i was reading a wakeboarding mag. and just got the idea. later

    That is cool and different. This is what I like about this site is the out of the box thinking. You could do some personlizing on that cover and make it even better.

    01,Z71 Victory Red, sportside,5.3L, Flowmaster 40&#39;s, K&N Drop In, Airaid MIT Tube, TB bypass, Nelson Performance Hot Tune. Velocity Stack waste of money.

    Yeah our boat is a Mercruiser 4.3L, and whaddya know, its got vortec heads lol

    what about the ss trailblazer cover? will it fit? What covers do you guys think look the best. i plan on polishing my valve covers, then just getting the caddy covers

    I think the engine compartment on the trailblazer is smaller, so I don&#39;t know if it would fit. It does look good though.
