Thread: Got my Sylvania Silver Star bulbs in...

    I finally picked these up from a member on LS1tech last night. I installed them after a stop at Taco Bueno...if you guys don't have a Taco Bueno I am sorry. It is excellent fast food of Mexican food. Anyway...The light output is very clean and clear, not yellowed like the stockers. Almost white.

    did you just get the low-beam or did you get all four (highs & lows)? i was thinking about putting some of these on my truck but they are like $40 a pair and that is money that i don't have right now.

    I put a set of low beams in a few weeks ago as well. They are much better than stock. A brighter, white light. Worth it for sure......

    I went just for the lows...they were $20 used for the pair. At some point I'll get the high beams too

    I replaced my low beams with these. They are sweet as hell!! A lot better then any of those ricer "high intensity" lights.

    On top of that they survived emersion in swamp water.... can't say the same for the chrome coating on the reflectors though.

    Has anyone tried the PIAA replacement bulbs? They are more expensive but suppose to be brighter.

    I think Fast4.8 on Tech said he recetnly swapped to the Silver Stars and liked them better.
