    Powder coating

Do any of you guys do your own powder coating? I just ordered a gun from eastwood and buying me a junk oven in a few days that will fit a wheel inside.
Figured it would be fun to do my own parts and wheels when I want. Post some pics of what you have done yourself or had done. Im just trying to get some ideas.

Thats good someone has used it and likes it. Harbor freight has a 69.00 kit BUT I was worried it was junk like everything else they sell. I got the dual voltage gun for 169.00 at eastwood.

good thinkin! the eastwood one works pretty good for smaller and flat pieces, but it has a hard timing getting the powder to adhere in crevices and where theres tight radii.... (isnt that the plural form of radius..?)

I hope it will work for some wheels, I guess we will see. They say the dual voltage will help in the corners.

haha, i jut got all excited cause i used a fancy word!!!

it should work well for wheels. i usually just have problems when its a real thick piece with tight bends, other than that it usually does good!!!

,ake sure you lay the powder down as thick as it will go! it will flow out and be smooth when it bakes!
