    getting a inch or so more

    so ive put 2 inch drop shackles on the rear of my truck and its still not level how can i get a inch or 2 more drop? i got 26" rims so i dont want to go no more than 2 inches lower because they will rub... any ideas please?

    You could remove the over load springs on the leafs.. That will give you about 3/4's ofa inch. Only other way to get where you want is a set of lowering leafs, that might put you more then you want..

    Add about 500 pounds of solid weight in the Bed and that'll give you the 1 or so inch. otherwise remove the overload springs.

    maybe drop hangers is what you need, personally removing the overloads will make your ride bouncey? i wouldnt reccomend it but alot of other do remove them, maybe if you clamp them down it wouldnt be so bad?

    clamping the overload will raise the rear end. shocks are there to control the bounce, and overloads are really only in use with a heavy load whether it's weight or axle wrap...

    Drop hangers with the shackles you already have. If you decide you want it back up an inch use the second hole in the shackles instead of the first.

    Donald just take the overload out. uve seen my truck and all i have is shackles and removed overload.
