    Can't decide on hood, poll!

I made this cowl hood (4.5 inches) about 2 years ago (before the body lift/elephant mirrors)

LOVE the way the hood looks, HATE the way the mirrors look (but I need the visibility...stock mirrors weren't covering it)

I'm KIND OF leaning towards the truck looks better with ugly mirrors and stock hood....over ugly mirrors and cowl hood. I think the mirrors make the truck look really wide, and the cowl seems too skinny.

Cowl hood has been sitting in buddy's garage all winter. He wants it gone. I'm either going to toss it, or spend the time/money to finish it and throw it on the truck. (needs to be painted...it's just rattle canned now)

Opinions please! I really can't decide.

I like the cowl hood. To me it gives it the look of a big truck.

I like the stock hood. Your truck has a lot going on and the stock hood seems to tone it down a little imo.

ya I agree.... might ditch the rollbars too. The flares have to stay, I was getting WAY to many chips in paint from tires throwing rocks.

keep the hood, ditch the bull bar and roll bar in bed, replace it with a prerunner style bumper with the lights moved down there

I agree with that it has too much going on.

I like cowl hoods, but I have not seen that kind for our trucks. I have one but it is no where as big as that is(picture is in my sig). I like his idea on the bull bar and the roll bar.

I made the hood, because I thought the 2" one was too small

it's going back on later today, I'll see how I like it before it goes to paint. Bumpers are on the list of things to do...way after rebuilding engine.

I like those mirrors! Wish I had them. Are those Bushwacker's fender flares? Keep the cowl hood but lose the roll bar. Bull is ok I guess.
