Allen said there are a few of you out there that have installed gauges in their overhead console. I was thinking about this mod for my truck and was wondering if anyone has done this and if they can post pictures. This is the setup I'm talking about in the newer trucks 1999-2005.

I did that in mine, and will try to post some photos later today. I don't like mine that much, because they point toward the back, and I can't see them from the drivers seat. I saw someone making a plate that angles the gauges toward the driver so you can see them.

I was thinking the same thing and was looking for some way to put them on an angle! I would love to see your pictures.

There you go. Those are the ones I had seen. I haven't had time to get the camera out and take photos. I'll try and get it posted soon.

A word of warning! Don't buy from this site.

I placed an order and my credit charge was immediately charged, but no package arrived at my house. I emailed the guy "gtripp@earthlink.net" three times asking for a status report on my order. I also called the phone number 661-857-0815 that is on his web site without an answer.

I've filed a dispute with the credit card company over payment.

I hope this will keep any of you good people from getting taken too,

Thanks for listening,
Gary Mitchell

I have to take back what I said about this company. It seems it's a one man operation and I just happened to try to get the overhead guage plate at the wrong time. He was on vacation and had no cell phone reception or email. He got my messages and promptly replied when he got back from vacation.

He overnighted the gauge plate at his expense and I got it the very next day. It's a nice plate. The gauges holes are angled so that they can be seen from the drivers seat.

Again, this is a reputable company. I would do business with him again.

Gary Mitchell
