So i have a buddy that just bought some 215 70R-16, and he wants to them on a set of stock gm wheels, size 16x7s, will the tires work or will it be to much of a stretch.

not saying it wont work but the smallest tire i have ever seen mounted was a 245/55/16.it looked fine and its on my buddys truck(2000 sierra) and it rides fine,no vibrations or pulling.its lowered like 4/5 or something along those lines.
Nothing stock...I either broke it or replaced it before I broke it!!

why would he want to run a tall- small tire ??
I have seen very skinny short tires on those rims. I have a guy locally that has them on his bagged hardbody. they look great wih rubber bands
