    avalanche plastic?

any one know of anything that makes the cladding on an avalanche look good for more than a week?, i have had the most luck with the real thick meguiar's spray, but it is greasy and it leaves streaks down the side of my truck when i wash it or it rains.

I usually use tire shine, but idk how long it would last. Usually keeps my engine bay shiny for a while

Anything you put on it is either going to collect dirt or run down the side of the truck when you hit highway speeds (or rain). The best thing I have seen is when people paint them.

Paint. It works like a charm. And looks much better than that ugly plastic IMO.

the turtle wax ice works wonders for me, you just put it on let dry and you are good to go. it last for a few weeks on my plastic and under the hood it makes things look much better. hope this helps.

thanks, any things worth a shot, gonna try the stoners and maby the ice but not going to paint the cladding. the plastic is one of the reasons i have had 2 almost identical avalanches. the plastic covers up the only thing wrong with a chevy-RUST!, thanks again
