    Question baking headlights?

    anyone know what temp to bake headlights at to get them to come apart?

    less than the 500 degrees you used last time..
    Slowest in Oklahoma...

    About 15 minutes at 185 degrees.

    i just did mine last weekend and i didnt even bake them.. just used a couple flat head screwdrivers very gently and worked the whole outside edge, eventually they will come apart. i didnt want to melt mine haha.

    well trail and error proved that 500 is too hot lol but about 5 minutes at 325 worked good

    It is better to gradually warm them then to hit them with high heat for a short time...

    well they were on 300 but im impatient so i turned it up a little and now i need a new one lol

    A heat gun and 2 flat head screwdrivers are all you need.
    New project truck:

    '00 ECSB 4wd, 5.3, 3" body lift, gap guards, 18x9 Moto Metal 951's, 305/60/18 Mickey Thompson MTZ's

    To-do list: Built rear end, 6.0 swap with built top end, 4L80e, and a couple bottles in the bed.
