Bed Swapping

I just want to make sure before i go ahead and try to get rid of my bed. I have an 89 K1500 Stepside and i want to swap to a Fleetside. My bed is 6ft, will a 6ft fleetside bolt right in? I dont want to sell my bed, drive from NY to CT to get a fleetside i have my eye on, and find out it wont fit . Thanks

As long as you are getting a bed from the same era and the bed length is the same as what you removed, it should bolt right in.

Thanks! The bed is off a 98 so it should fit if im correct on the years (88-99?). Anyway thats grounds enough for me to make a post about selling my stepside.
