    HID mounting

So I ordered a set of DDM raptor 35w 8K HID's for my 04 Silverado. I was wanting ask where people have mounted the ballasts or what the best spot is. They should be in next week and I'm starting to get anxious. LOL

I don't know about NBS, but I've got mine mounted on my core support... if you've got some 3M double sided tape, I recommend using that instead of the stuff they give you.

They are ballasts, not caps. If you drill a small hole at the bottom of the plastic support behind the headlights, you can ziptie them to the plastic support. http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/elect...-ballasts.html

anywhere ziptied is fine. Ive had two different sets in two different locations and all worked fine. Cheap ballasts tend to get hot fast though which kinda sucks
