Lookinng for a new hood. ???

Looking for higher then normal cowl hood or comp. for my 00 RCSB. Hoping to gain at least 2 more inches for intake clearances. Looked on line but not sure, without seeing it on a truck its hard to tell.
Got any suggestions. Needs to be a TRUE bolt on.

good luck... I searching for one last month and couldnt find a bigger one then a 2 1/2.. Only other way i can think of is a custom molded in one a body shop can do. then again you have a 00 style so you might have better luck then i had.

i have a GM goodmark hood. i have one of the first ones where they height wasnt that tall. the later models are slightly higher

if you find a Reflexxion cowl hood its taller then hte good mark hoods

You got to love it when you are shown one thing but not on your applicaiton.
was first shown this one but its a late model.

Then for my year model I see these options. Looks like the 2nd one has more room in front. Not sure yet, I was hoping for something in the 3-4" range but still a steel hood.

Why not make your own?? If you can build what you do, seems like putting a cowl in a hood wouldn't be too hard.

    If it was billet maybe.
Might have to try, still a little way from that point. In the past every time I have tried body work has not turned out that great. But that was a long time ago.

4.75" .... fiberglass is fun (and a PITA)
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

Cut a hole in the hood and let it all hang out.
99RCSB Broke because I wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on my truck.
