    Cutting off exhaust pipe

Not really sure which to post in.

I'm looking at cutting off the exhaust end that hanges out behind the rear wheel. Tired of looking at it, just so ugly with that thing hanging back there.

So thoughts on where I should cut if off at? And will it possibly affect the sound any?

I was just thinking of cutting if off at any angle at the end ___

Pretty much like that. Just somewhere under the truck.

Probably do that. Cut if off by close to the muffler, and have what I cut off expanded on one end. And cut out the curve to use that as my turndown.

Its all stock for now. Muffler plan is a little ways off.

i wouldny keep it like that for a while your exhaust gases are building up underneath the truck and will get inside your cab and thats bad you dont want to be breathing that in

Oh ok. I see what you're talking about now. I could even go ahead and use the exhaust pipe that I cut off and have that go to the side. Wouldn't look as good as a chrome or stainless tip.

My 4" pipe is turned down under the bed and my twin Borlas I had before were turned down under the bed and I never had issues with smelling anything inside the cab.
