I look at it two ways.

1. If you work on your truck on a regular basis i wouldn't do it the hood would be in the way.

2. If its a show truck or the only thing you do to your engine is oil changes than go for.

I like the look of a forward tilting hood on a truck if it fits with the style of the truck.

If you can make it hood that you can take off easily, then sure. Other wise I wouldn't mess with it
