I'm trying to decide what to do with my truck...

I've got an orange 05 Silverado. I like the 06-07 Classic hood better, so I found one, but it is black. I've had it on for almost a year, and I want something different. First I had it with the 05 grille, but I put the 06 one on later. I could paint it solid orange to match the rest of the truck and it would still stand out. Or should I try something completely different?

A friend did this with photoshop for me a while back.


I don't like how the lines work with the hood though.

I saw this pattern today and thought maybe someway I could make it work on my truck somehow?

I don't know anything about photoshop, but how about just leaving the top portion of the bulge on the hood black and do the rest orange? Then on the line where the orange and black touch some silver pin striping like what appears to be on the side of your truck.

I've never liked the stripes down the side. It is black and silver.

Which grille do you actually have? I think the one in the bottom pic looks better with what you are trying to do.

I have both grilles. Currently the 06 grille in the bottom picture is on the truck.

i would go with the 06 hood and just paint the hood orange.
