    Newbie needs shoes

Hi guys! Recently swapped the ex's Accord for an 04 silv. So now I have questions for the experts. First thing I want to do is get rid of those stupid looking chrome plated wheels. Big decision is on tire size. I have 245/70 16 and would like to know what y'all are running. Suggestions and pics are greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site! Is the truck a 4x or 2x? Drop/Lift? I have 265/70 17 on mine, but you'll probably find a wide variety of "shoes" here. I think it's a matter of how you want them to look on your truck.

Its a 2X. Looks like it has drop shackles. Just looking for a good aggressive looking street tire that will fill up the wells. Do not want to run 20s, sorry not my look.

I like the factory 20's from the newer trucks. As for 16's-17's I like the tahoe z71 wheels from the 2004 model. He is right... 20's do look smaller. Centerline makes wheels that are just as light as stock 16's. But $$$

I am kicking around the idea of buying black soft 8s and seeing if i can use my factory center caps to accent them. Kind of a sleeper look with a 8 inch rim and a better off-set.

Noticed his. Wondering what his setup is. Black steelies are cheap so if I hate 'em at least I didn't spend a grand!
