    Beds

    dose anyone know were i can find a step side bed for 2006 sierra. the junk yard were i got my console have one but are wanting $1800 for it and $600 swapping my bed for theirs, i wouldnt care as much but it's red and needs some body work done.

    It takes 6 minutes to swap a bed if you have buddies to lift.

    $600 labor?

    I'll do it by myself for $300.

    Not sure they made Sportsides in 2006 or 2005 or 2004....

    Yeah the bed is easy to swap. Just go from underneeth and undo the bed bolts, wirring harness for tails and gas neck and your ready to lift off.

    That seems high for a bed that needs body work!

    A complete bed is very expensive.

    Here in centex its hard to find a complete bed for under 1800 that doesnt need body work. Its damn near impossible.
