    2008 Regency R/T silverado???

The question is should I get one? Orange or yellow? In order to do this I must sell my truck and motorcycle. Not that big of a deal to get rid of either of them. My trucks been good to me but she's gettin old. I just got my bike in march of 2007 and it has really low miles so I should be able to get what I owe on it. Plus I could pick up a use bike in the near future for pretty cheap. I figure I could probably get about $4,500 for my truck and use that as the down payment for the new truck. After dealer incentives and everything I could probably get the new truck for about $21,000.
the R/T is a single cab 5.3 and the interior is TITTS. I Kinda like the paint on both. Talk me in or out of this.

The regency is pretty cool. but you could save almost 10k, and get a normal one and just mod the hell out of that truck with the 5.3

he probably meant get a slightly used one and mod it... eBay Motors: Chevrolet : Silverado 1500 (item 190238229952 end time Jul-26-08 12:09:29 PDT) here is a nice example of a used truck... Just an example... I agree with Ducky on not buying a brand new regency. because buying a used newer truck and buying 5k-10k in mods is better. When you have your $21k new truck... An older model that cost $15k and has $6k in mods will not only smoke you, it will look just as good doing it. Me personally, I prefer buying a $5k-$8k truck and putting $10k in it...

I was just using my truck as an example, not necessarily the 08's

Im with ya David. Its like buying a video game when it first comes out. If you wait it will be allot cheaper. or if you buy a used game its 1/2 price some times. Same concept.
If you HAVE to get a new regency I would get orange. Orange is more original. And looks nicer than yellow. However if you spend about 10 grand on your truck you will own a nice truck that is fast AND original. And will never have to worry about the repo man.

K, thought long and hard about it and decided that I like having a bike that gets 42 mpg and a nice truck. So when I get stationed down in Houston I'm just gonna take out a personal loan for 6-7k and get a 6.0 and a new tranny for it and do some other visual mods to mine that mainly include getting it repainted and fixing all the little dents and dings and then some new rims. Maybe a dumb question, but will the ls1 accesories fit on the 6.2's. I know that they'll fit on the 6.0 so that'll save me some cash if I go that route.

Good decision on keeping in real. +1 on the personal loan. Bore out a lq4 and make a 438. get a 4l80e and get some nitrous and look into low 11's. and drive it home from the track.
