Haven't posted in a while but got some pics up of the truck. Its an 88 silverado 3500 with a 5 7 drop and a 2002 LS-1. Had it at the track last weekend and it ran a 14.3 at 95.6 mph, not bad for a 4600 pound fatty with too tall a tire I guess.

Anyway heres the pics.

As far as engine mods go its pretty much stock, intake setup I have a Lt-1 elbow with a K&N mounted on the end of the MAF. Exhaust is stock manifolds with cats and 2 1/4" duals to the axle with no mufflers, had 2 flo-pro mufflers but it was too quiet and airy sounding, I suppose because I had no x or h pipe. So as an experiment I just chopped them off, its actually not too loud.

As far as drivetrain its got a 4l60E with stock crossmember, stock two piece driveshaft shortened by Advanced Driveline. Original 3.90 gears with only like 300,000 miles on the Generals original fluid, no posi. Still has stock tire size which is hurting me.

Body mods consist of shaved tails, mirrors, tailgate handle and antenna, obviously no emblems or body moldings, sir micheals roll pan welded in and with the lights cut into it. I also have a line of fire led wired as brake and turn signal lights. So all the tails are LED and extremely bright. The mirrors that are on the truck now are actually hot rod mirrors I flipped upside down and mounted high to kind of mimick both an old school look and also the concept SSR. Saddleman flush fit tonneau cover, and a Belltech 5 7 drop to finish it all off.

Interior is still in the works right now, sorry for the long winded post.

Wow, I really like the look of your truck. I've always liked the look of rat rods and it looks suprisingly good on a late model truck.

Its a full 1 ton, in 88 and maybe one or two more years 1 tons were available with single wheels. But its basicly a 3/4 ton rated as a 1 to allow GM to get around fuel mileage requirements and sell a nonoverdrive auto tranny since they were having trouble with od trannys at the time.
