shortest wheels that fit on 05 Silverado?

I saw somebody that owned a 2007 Classic selling 15" truck wheels with drag racing tires for the rear. I was under the impression that these trucks needed taller wheels to fit the rear? Was that just with the trucks that have rear discs? I have a pair of 26x10.5 ET Streets for 15" wheels just sitting in storage. I could put a chair pair of wheels on these and have fun at the dragstrip if 15s will even fit?

While I'm at it what are the shortest wheels that will fit on the front?

if you have drum brakes on the rear, you can run 15s

it should definitely help out my gearing. With the way it is now, I could run the entire quarter mile in the first 2 gears. And according to f-body.org/gears with 26" tires and a mostly stock truck, I'll still probably use just 2 gears in the summer time....

BUt hey! these 3.23s are GREAT on the highway!

no, your thread hinted that 15s would fit on the rear. I have a pair of 26x10.5 Mickey Thompson ET Streets for 15" wheels.
