Underhood Dressup

Im thinking of re-routing lines and doing a lot of cleanup under the hood on the engine. Im curious as to what the stock intake manifold looks like once all that crap is pulled off and if it can be made to look good. I basically want to smooth it up like the ls1 & ls6 intake, and paint it. I know it is taller and shaped alot different, but is it deformed looking or does it have potential? Its kinda hard to tell by just taking off the cover. I figured some of yall that have put on radix's etc. might know. Thanks for any comments.

i think they're kind of ugly without that vortec cover

I know they are ugly to start with, but does anyone think they can be sanded on and smoothed up any? Or should i just give up and use the cover.

Yeah i thought of that first but i tried to think of something maybe nobody else has done, maybe im dreaming to hard. Thanks for posting.
