    Blistein Part # w/Ford Keys??

Need a part number for Bilsteins???
I got some ford keys Part # XL3Z-5B328-CA to level out the front end of my silverado. I want to run the Blistein's but no one I've called can find a part number for cranked keys (+1-2"?)? Does anyone have the part number?? Did you use the stock style yellow or the silver series? FYI- I planning on getting 285-75-16 Yokohama Geolander AT/S next week and need to get the alignment done at the same time.

    Great! Found it.

    For others searching:
"Will I have to replace my shocks?:
Yes. There is no way around it if you crank it up. A lot of questions come up about how the truck will ride. It will ride stiffer, but it can be brought almost to stock in my opinion with the right shocks. Here is a list of several shocks that many members have run and are happy with:
Bilstein: (made specifically for a silverado with cranked Ford Keys) Part #BE5-C153-T0"

I ran stock keys and shocks cranked up 1-1/2" and it wasnt really that bad...Any higher though will ride like ****....I ran Procomps with my ford keys though and sadly I still have them on the truck LOL

Why would you need to replace your shocks for 1 to 2 inches of travel? What truck do you have?

I have had my stock shocks on for almost 90000 with the front cranked about an inch and change. My stock shocks are the Z71 shocks which are longer that the others. Aside from them being old, i have had no reason to change mine out. They will get replaced soon. Ride didn't change much for me either. Which leads back to my question, is 2 0r 4wd?

Like hillbilly6.0 said, stock shocks are to short. With the 2 inches of cranking he will put on the front end the shock just extended another 2 inches also. Which pretty much maxes the up travel of the stock shocks out.

    Cliff notes:
stock front shocks+2 inch crank= really ruff ride

You need the longer shocks cause the ford keys crank you up to like 3". Stock keys You can only go up to 2" if that. Thats why you get away with it. I ran stock shocks on ford keys cranked to the moon, busted those in a heartbeat
