My truck was a 05 RST 4.8 5 speed I got to do some small mods to and have a reliable cruiser.... well I got a little out of hand....lol... I started by adding a sts kit with 10 psi which scattered the 4.8 after about a week of abuse. I then Bought a new LQ9 to throw in.... Thats how it all started.....

And Now.....Best of 10.78@129 with a 1.76 60' and 4550 lbs race weight on low boost..........
Engine: LQ9 crate motor from Mast Motorsports with Forged Diamond Turbo Pistons with file fit rings, Eagle H beam rods, ARP main and head studs, Clevite HP bearings, Melling high volume oil pump with Comp double roller timing chain, 230/236 .612/.607 114 lsa +2 cam, WCCH stage 2 317 heads, Victor Jr intake with elbow, And 90mm tb. All tuned By Nelson Performance
power adders: Custom Nelson front mount Twin MP76 kit, Tial 38mm Waste gates, Tial Q 50mm BOV, Turbosmart Boost controller running from 15-19 psi. (more to come) Nelson custom intercooler and Snow Perf. water meth kit. 75 shot Zex wet kit to help it spool.
Fuel system: RCI 20 gal. cell, Dual Aeromotive A1000 pumps with -10 lines, efi bypass regulator, with the Edelbrock fuel rails, and 80# injectors
Transmission:Full built 4L80E From Mace-O-Matic By Casey23 with Hughes deep pan and Circle D full billet 3600 rpm converter. -8 cooling lines, and 2 B&M 30k Super coolers. B&M Megashifter, and Dennys Nitrous Ready 4'' Chromoly driveshaft with Mark williams Chromoly tranny yoke and u-joints.
Rear: Moser M-9" with 35 spline axles, Detroit locker, Nodular center with 3.70 pro gears. 4 link with QA1 coilovers done by Jon at DB RODS.
Interior: Katzkin black leather seat covers, Grey painted accents from RST, Clarion 7" screen deck. 2 Hurst roll control line locks, one on the front to hold them, and one on the back to keep them locked out for rolling burnouts... Roll cage will be soon (lots of stereo equip coming)
Wheels and tires: Centerline 22x9.5 rear with 305/45/22 Wanli S-1098 Tires, 20x8.5 front with 275/45/20 Wanli S-1098 Tires. 29-12-15Hoosier Slicks mounted on 15x10 MT classic II wheels painted black for the track... New set of Bogarts are in an will be mounted soon....
Exterior: Painted bumper, handes and SS mirrors. SS roll pan, and 20% tint.
