You'd have so much more potential with the LS1 and the adapter plates are simple to install. Not much more work than the LT1 install except for the wiring harness. That LT1 is a beast on gas compared to an LS1 also. Just think, the new Z07 supposedly gets 28mpg now with 500 + HP. Oh, and the LS1 is much easier to work on............................................
